  • We may utilise cadavers when demonstrating various techniques, this is so we do not stress live birds un-necessarily. Any live bird handling demonstrated is in full compliance with NZ Department of Conservation permit conditions and has minimal impacts on the welfare of the bird. Treatments or nursing of birds is recorded during the normal course of treatments of a bird and not for demonstration purposes.

  • The completion period for paid courses is six months. Access after the 6month timeframe will be ongoing but on a request basis and at the discretion of Learn Bird Care Ltd. Allowing application-based access to past students will enable individuals to refresh their original learnings on an ongoing basis. Refer to our "Terms" for more information.

  • Anyone under the age of 16 requires parental consent to access our course website.

  • On receipt of payment, you will immediately receive the complete course. The course modules will then be ‘dripped’ out to you in stages i.e. the Welcome Module and the first Learning Module will be released on enrolment, the modules that follow will be dripped out over a period of 1 to 4 days. Please see our "Terms" for further details.

  • We recommend using either Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser when doing our courses.

  • There is copyright on the content of LBC courses and it may not be shared without prior approval.

  • We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. You will have 30 days from purchase date. The platform tracks percentage of progress through the course. If you have viewed 50% or less of the course within the first 30 days and feel you have not learnt anything new, we will refund the purchase price.
